BÜYÜKLERE MASALLAR
Presentation
As a child, she dreamed of telling stories…
As a young woman, she dreamed of becoming a journalist…
Following those dreams, she graduated from the Radio, Television and Cinema Department of Ege University’s Faculty of Communication, where she also completed her master’s degree.
Her first internship was with the programme “32. Gün”…
During her student years, she presented youth, arts and culture programmes on TRT İzmir Television.
In 2005, a Norwegian government scholarship enabled her to attend a Media Studies programme at the University of Oslo. That same year, she began working as a reporter in Mehmet Ali Birand’s team at the Kanal D newsroom.
For a period, she also presented Kanal D’s main weekend news bulletin.
At the time of the original publication, she was reading books to her four-year-old daughter Zeyneb and preparing and presenting a health programme every weekday on TRT Kent Radyo.
On Radio Café Turc, she produces and presents “Büyüklere Masallar” (Tales for Grown-Ups).
A programme for the pleasure of listening, in which children’s books speak to adults.
That, too, was a dream…
It came true thanks to Radio Café Turc.
After all, what are dreams for?
